Casey Kelly Pérez is brand and UI designer with an entrepreneurial spirit and 15+ years of experience building brands and products through design. She currently runs Limbic Studio — an independent design studio with clients across North America. She enjoys working with businesses, brands, and startups who value strategic design and are passionate about what they do.
Casey earned her MFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013. She has a broad understanding of what it takes to work with different teams and stakeholders — having worked at agencies, tech startups, with business owners and CEOs, in higher education, and at GRAMMY winning studio, White Bicycle (SONY, Andrew Bird, Alanis Morissette). Most recently, Casey was Design Director at venture studio Alloy Partners, where she lead the design team and served startups, CEOs, and partners building SaaS products and brands. She has since dove into focusing on Limbic Studio for the flexibility and focus as she raises her family.
The majority of Casey’s work focuses on branding, visual identity systems, packaging, web design, UX, and UI design. Casey has taught as a tenure track design professor, and enjoys staying involved with higher education. For fun, she paints murals, and has recently launched a self-published children’s book series and brand called
Forest Crossing Friends.
On a day off, you’ll probably catch her mountain biking, running, golfing, alpine skiing, walking her dog with her family, or kicking back with a bourbon.
