Pretty and Grit was a passion project turned business. Jewelry was created to honor the balance of beauty and meaning in life, with each piece focusing on a specific life lesson to reflect upon when worn. Casey Kelly Pérez developed the brand, strategy, identity, packaging, website, and jewelry design and fabrication from ground up. She attended metalsmithing trade school in Nashville to learn the craft. Due to a focus on teaching, and building my freelance design studio and children’s book series, making custom jewelry continues as a side project.
