Since its grand opening in June 2012, Larkin Square lies at the heart of Larkinville, the site of the former Larkin Soap Company warehouse buildings in Buffalo, New York.

This open public space provides a backdrop of colorful furniture amongst whimsical architecture, where community gatherings are filled with food, music and fun.

The Larkin team requested flowers that represented the whimsical, creative spirit of the area. Featured, is the result—a 25ft x 10ft mural designed using the Procreate App and an iPad Pro, then projected and painted. The artwork is inspired by the meticulous landscape work, giant hanging flowers, and brightly colored furniture that sprawls throughout the square. Scroll down further for process and other concepts that were shared.
