Maiorossé Cycles are bespoke bicycles handcrafted with fine steel. Founded by Engineer and cyclist Daniel Shafer, the name was inspired by his appreciation for old-world Italian culture and traditional bike frame building techniques. A visual identity system was created that evokes European culture, quality, and typography. A rose shaped logomark is inspired by the name “Maiorossé” with linework that simultaneously flows to form the views of a scenic bicycle ride—including rolling hills and a sun that is created from the spokes of a bicycle wheel.

We discovered Limbic Studio through a referral from a director of marketing while looking for a brand identity to help launch our new bicycle company. We decided to work with Casey Kelly Pérez as our brand designer because she was very responsive and was genuinely interested in helping us to achieve our goals.  Working with Casey was very transparent as she walked us through the project brief and identity process. The result was nothing short of stunning and we continue to refer her to others to this day. Having Limbic Studio on our side really helped propel the launch of our company forward in the most positive way possible.
